A Fundação Aga Khan (AKF) encontra-se a recrutar um colaborador para o seu Departamento Financeiro. Neste cargo ficará responsável pela gestão financeira do Programa de Desenvolvimento Comunitário K’CIDADE, trabalhando directamente com a directora do Programa e reportando à responsável pelo Departamento Financeiro da AKF.

Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis, responsible for accounting, cash, resource and budget management;
- Prepare and manage the budgets of the different cost centres and activities;
- Liase with banking and financial services industry;
- Liase with and direct the implementation of internal and external audits and reviews within the programme;
- Collaborate in annual closing balances procedures and preparation of annual financial statements;
- Prepare financial information for donor reporting purposes;
- Prepare financial reprogramming requests to donors, in collaboration with team coordinators;
- Prepare and process monthly payroll;
- Maintain and contribute to the development and design of new databases ensuring their timely update and production of regular output records, with special attention on monitoring and preventing underspending;
- Review existing and put in place effective cash and currency management systems;
- Participate, as requested by Project Director, in the overall planning, monitoring and evaluation of the AKF Portugal Urban Community Support Programme;
- Actively participate in creating a performance driven programme by engaging into the development of the programme long term goals cascaded into activities, outputs and outcomes, with an appropriate set of indicators to monitor progress.
Requirements:
- Experience working in complex programs that combine public and private sector interaction;
- First class financial, organizational, analytical and accounting skills record;
- Experience managing a budget;
- Experience in using accounting and financial software;
- Experience in payroll with Artsoft software is desirable;
- Diplomacy, confidentiality awareness, commercial acumen, pragmatism, multi-task capacity, sensitivity to a variety of cultures and backgrounds;
- A strong desire to grow in the position and the ability to take the initiative in the programme’s development.
- Fluent in English.
